Your Company Pension

Company pensions are becoming a more and more important part of your financial plan.

We already offer a company pension review service, which means that we advise you on the best funds to be invested in within your current company pension arrangements.

It is imperative that you join/stay in the scheme as you will be getting employer contributions paid in, in other words free money.

In some cases the fund choices are good and you can invest for your retirement via these funds.

But in other cases, there are a limited number of suitable funds, if any at all. At the moment, you have to invest in the "best of a bad bunch" to continue to receive free money.

BUT, DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN MAKE A PARTIAL TRANSFER FROM THE COMPANY PENSION INTO A PERSONAL PENSION? This means that you can continue to receive free money in the company scheme but if the funds available are not very good, you could move the bulk of them elsewhere.

SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT!
